Sledding

Bill and the kids and I went out to a local golf course 2 weeks ago (boy am I late on posting) for a little fun on the hills.

They began with the hike up....

Which turned into a ride to the top via the Dad lift...

Megan started things off with a trip down the hill in what looked like the best available spot...

Little did we know that there was a man-made jump directly in her path. (If you squint really hard you can a patch of very white snow in front of her.) She hit it square and went flying face first down into the snow. But she was a trooper, much to our surprise, and she continued on...

Next it was Matt's turn. He has quite the sledding talent in that he can twist himself around on top of the sled while hurtling down the hill and never fall off of the darn thing...

But for as good as he was on the big hill, he preferred the little odd slopes along the way that as Bill said, allowed him more runs in less time...

It was a fun time for all, even Dad, who managed to squeeze his rear end onto the teeny tiny plastic disk 'wanna-be' sled...
